Biomass.dk has its own tank terminal in Hirtshals, directly connected to the quay with 3 pcs. 8“ pipeline, that ensures a quick emptying of ships and very short lay time at the quay.
The tank farm is approved for import and storying of Animal By-Products both Cat. 1, Cat. 2 and Cat. 3, as well as other liquid biomasses.
In total, the terminal includes three 1,250 m³ tanks, with the possibility for expansion. Additionally, it features a modern and efficient filling system for tank trucks and access to a weighbridge.
